Added some soy sauce and nutritional yeast alongside a basic mirepoix instead of just the onion and bell pepper and it turned out awesome. Great way to use of lots of chickpeas and peanut butter you got lying around.

Does it have a strong peanut flavor or is it more subtle?

Depends on how much peanut butter you add, I like the peanut taste and added an extra tbsp and it has a taste similar to peanut satay.

This might be a dumb question but where do I find nutritional yeast in the grocery store? I like msg, I want to try nutritional yeast. Is it just marmite or something lol

So nutritional yeast has more amino acid and proteins in it compared to marmite but is somewhat similar, however instead of a paste it is in flake form and has a cheesy taste to it. I had to order mine online, there's braggs yeast flakes that is sold in similar containers as oatmeal (i.e. cardboard drums).

They also have a amino acid sauce that is lower in sodium than soy sauce but pretty tasty (and a good way to ensure complete proteins on the cheap)

I make something this at least every few weeks, love it, cutting peanut butter into stews and chilis is a great way to add creamyness and protein! It's not too hard to mask the flavor either
