        It's a really ironic statement that basically accepts that the US is powerless to stop Russia from invading Ukraine without starting World War 3 but somehow is also in denial about the geopolitical situation through the absurd assertion that sanctions will deter Russia from further action.

        Russia knew that US-led sanctions were coming and it did nothing to prevent this.
