    Wait, why were anarchists volunteering on the Ukrainian side of the conflict before Russia invaded? Like after Putin invaded I kinda get the logic, but that only really started proper like two days ago. Before that it was essentially an insurgent conflict between a neoliberal state and it’s nationalist allies and some ethno-separatists. What fucking rational do anarchists have for getting involved in either side of that conflict?

      Call me cynical, but I think there's a certain variety of guy who just really wants a chance to kill someone else and will do any amount of mental gymnastics to reach that goal.
