Moderating on leftist reddit right now is a warzone.

This isn't coming from socdems, some is for sure, but right now there is an absolutely massive campaign run by propagandists. The VAST majority of opposition to things occurring in subs I mod is coming from accounts making their first ever comment in that community. Threads are being tracked based on keywords and brigaded with votes and opposition at an industrial scale. Many accounts look like accounts that were probably bought.

In 10+ years of modding on that shit website I have never seen anything like it. Social media, which includes reddit, is currently the frontline of a full scale information war.

We joke about posting being or not being praxis but I think it's extremely important that we not surrender ground in that information war.

methinks US socdems introduced a lot of new people to “anticapitalism” but these people still have not shed their american exceptionalist ideology.

Yup, you're 100% correct, and it's painfully obvious at this point.

Ban the tankies, lose the party line. Reddit socdems failing to learn the same lesson over and over again.
