I swear to fuck, even on commie pages, this site is the only group of people I've seen that aren't actively picking sides and it's really nice.

Right? This is literally the only site where I've seen people stick with "hey uh, you know both countries aren't great, right? let's support the workers and the normal people instead of the militaries and state dept lines."

Like I hardly can wrap my head around all the details of this conflict, I don't care about which side "has a claim" to whatever, I just want people to not die and fighting to stop. The govts can get fucked but like lets not cheer on people dying in a war?

Well if the fash die that would be the most optimal outcome, then again a bit hesitant in calling nazis people in the first place. :fash-bash:

I feel like this was essentially Lenin's (and others) pitch during WW1, and it was pretty effective

i still blame the US for everything starting this, i dont even need to go beyond that point. but when i make this point ive just been called a tankie. ive never said Putin was right but because i speak against america then i must be for the enemy. ah discourse.

Everybody hates Nazis. You can't blame Putin for taking this line. It is a popular justification with just enough evidence to support it. Nazis deserve no quarter. But point out the one time in history the bourgeoisie ever took the threat of Nazi fascism seriously. In the aftermath of World War Two, which was ostensibly fought to crush the Nazis, you had the Rat Lines and the Gladio stay-behind networks. It is quite simply not a job the bourgeoisie should ever be trusted with carrying to fruition.

I'll go further and say it's really fucked up that they couldn't figure out a way to assert themselves or deal with being poked that didn't involve opening up pandora's box like this. It's like two children. US/NATO are just as responsible for doing everything they could to make RU swing, but RU fucking swung and war's a fucking crime idgaf.

I wasn't firmly on a side before, but now I've picked the side where the government isn't tweeting in support of Azov coating bullets in lard to use against Chechan "orcs".
