This is like the second time Sony specifically shows volumetric facial hair. Last time it was a gimmick on a tightly controlled demo, but this time I watched the Digital Foundry comparison video and it's there, rendered in real time during gameplay. You won't notice it unless you slam the camera in Alloy's face, but it's there.
Really impressive looking tech I think it helps remove a lot of the uncanniness
it does. If people want realism this is creeping towards it honestly. Women especially white girls like Aloy is depicted have peach fuzz whether these neckbeards want to believe it or not.

Aloy is white and has red hair, but she doesn't have a supermodel face or wear eye shadow so g*mers think that Sony made her ugly intentionally to appease SJWs.
she looks as if she may be wearing a dark eyeshadow on the upper eyelid in that picture, and she is definitely wearing eyeliner. also the eyebrows look plucked, and have probably been colored given that she's a redhead.
