The platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus), sometimes referred to as the duck-billed platypus, is a semiaquatic, egg-laying mammal endemic to eastern Australia, including Tasmania. The platypus is the sole living representative or monotypic taxon of its family (Ornithorhynchidae) and genus (Ornithorhynchus), though a number of related species appear in the fossil record.
Together with the four species of echidna, it is one of the five extant species of monotremes. It is one of the few mammals that lay eggs instead of giving birth to live young. Like other monotremes, it senses prey through electrolocation. It is one of the few species of venomous mammals, as the male platypus has a spur on the hind foot that delivers a venom, capable of causing severe pain to humans. The unusual appearance of this egg-laying, duck-billed, beaver-tailed, otter-footed mammal baffled European naturalists when they first encountered it, and the first scientists to examine a preserved platypus body (in 1799) judged it a fake, made of several animals sewn together.
Nature is a comrade, and she remains undefeated all-time. Animals rock.

i've downloaded a decent soundfont/sample pack repetoire, but i tend to not use the drums as most sound kinda midi. might look into the specific samples tho. i don't tend to sample specific songs/recordings a lot, generally, but if i have to to sound good i might.
yeah electronic snares esp software electronic snares half the time sound so sterile/midi/just awful that i just want to mix them into the background which DEFEATS THE POINT OF A FUCKING SNARE :matt-jokerfied:
Yeah, I've sampled a few snares from some old 70s and 80s songs cause they sound real lol. Electronic snares are weak sauce and get lost in the mix. I shouldn't have to use camel crusher or something similar just to get it to cut through the mix
under no circumstances when making an electronic drum kit should ones clap hit heavier and harder then their snare but they just keep fucking doing it. claps are the mixup option in my experience, but half the time using electronic i substitute them in for the goddamn snare and it sounds more coherent. why :joker-troll:
