      I dunno how much we can blame that on capital specifically. Like yes in a vague sense because capital creates tge alienated conditions and baseline distrust under which we live, but also capital desperately wanted people to get vaccinated to re open the economy and their fascist high just refused. So I dunno.

        I'd say it's still capital's fault just on a wider scale and longer timeline. If there wasn't so much distrust in medical institutions and the government as a whole, we wouldn't have as many anti-vaxxers. We also wouldn't have as many late/unboosted vaxxers if people had reliable transport to get their vaccine and guaranteed time off to be sick afterwards.

          I don't disagree, but I hesitate to ascribe blame in an agency sense to this like I would an active op by govt or private institutions. It's more just stochastic capitalism. I guess that is the nuance I am kind of feeling. I don't think any of the pandemic, or inflation for that manner, is intentional its just bog standard capitalism lurching from disaster to disaster.
