German libs have managed to kill Rosa Luxembourg again.

How is it possible to be this much of an imbecile?

Could it be because of material forces and a long history of imperialism? No… it’s because Putler has gone insane. Materialism, no longer correct. We are full Great people of History now

Imperialism isn’t just “the country that seems worse.” Just because two imperial powers are opposed to each other doesn’t mean one magically becomes anti-imperialist. More proof once again that almost no one has properly digested the lessons of the tragedy of WW1.

And furthermore, just because two imperial powers are opposed to each other doesn't mean they're equally imperialist. Invading a country at your border to keep NATO out, and actively trying to turn several hollowed-out, bombed-out, neoliberalized post-soviet states halfway across the world from you into vassals of your military hierarchy are orders of magnitude different.

While using a humanitarian crisis (ukrainian nazis, ethnic cleansing in donbass) as a cynical pretense to invade is something the US is also very experienced in doing, there's something to be said about the fact that Russia didn't deliberately create the humanitarian crisis. Almost every humanitarian crisis the US uses to invade other countries were actively engineered by the US in advance. The US would have never experienced 9/11, for example, if it hadn't spent the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s funding, aiding, training, and propping up reactionaries in the middle east.

In spite of the assumptions of too many analysts, Putin does not just want to annex a bit of eastern Ukraine. His sights are set on the entire country.

Pretty weird strategy he's taking, negotiating a ceasefire with the current government, if he wants to conquer the entire country.

Russia under Putin acts like an imperial superpower: in 2008 it absorbed Abkhazia and South Ossetia, in 2014 it annexed the Crimean peninsula and supported separatist forces in eastern Ukraine, and after 2015 it ensured that the murderous dictator Bashar al-Assad was able to hold onto power in Syria.

They invoked the :who-must-go: curse lol

And hours later a MdB (Member of the Bundestag) quits the party, because she's taking a pro-NATO position lol

Oh my fucking god it's so embarassing to be a member of this party and it's getting worse each year
