I gotta say, the couple of times I've found myself considered a "friend" in some unrelated niche hobby community by someone who turned out to be a vaush/destiny devotee, this is exactly the type of impression I got.
Lots of enormous essay replies in arguments with them, inscrutable grudges that seemed to last months if not over a year, incredible insecurity about their own appearance of intelligence. (The last part does make sense to me, actually--if it's all about nuance for you, then you have to believe that you have a brain fit for the job I guess)
I think part of it was just trying to harass me into silence. I'm 99% sure it was the same person that reported my account for advocating violence for saying when the revolution comes everyone with a K-On pfp gets the wall (they're always Nazis)
