There are social democrats in DSA who support expelling Bowman. That's what's so silly about the claim they're making. The fucking Congressional Progressive Caucus has a three-line whip. Literally anyone who understands political discipline in any context understands that you have to enforce your fucking line with your politicians. The only people who don't support that are people who legitimately don't want to change anything.
Ironically, the anti-sectarian group in DSA is the group calling for the enforcement of the definitely-not-a-line.
Friendly reminder that the DSA has no political education, it's all left up to individual chapters to even think about reading anything.

Adventurism would be "I'm gonna go out and blow up a cop car myself " (solo, dangerous, no theory backing up), but starting a mutal aid group is the opposite (collective, not explicitly dangerous yet , good chance to spread the good word of socialism).
