I just discovered I have (roughly) 5$ on my steam account, and I want to get rid of it, any recommendations?
Lol, I would pirate but I already have the credit, might as well use it.
Wait for a sale. And all of these have been under $5 at some point, enough that you should be able to get two, maybe three.
Strategy - Dicey Dungeons, Card City Nights, FTL: Faster Than Light
Violence - Hotline Miami, Ape Out, Nuclear Throne, Tonight We Riot
Platformer - Kero Blaster, Celeste
Literally Zelda - Anodyne, Ittle Dew 2
Fighting - Divekick
Badger Mom Simulator - Shelter 1
Zachtronics game not by Zachtronics - Silicon Zeroes
Download open TTD for free, disregard this steam credit while playing the greatest train game of all time. :gigachad:
Hmm, this is true. It starts off feeling like a slower, slightly clunkier Diablo, but then you see the skill tree and AUGH.
It suffers from the same malady as many such games, where every "guide/tutorial" either assumes that you already have a working understanding of all the mechanics and are just looking to minmax, or reads like "Welcome to Path of Exile. Use the mouse to control your character. Do not eat it!"
No personal recommendations, but Steam usually has a big sale every season, if you can hold onto it until Easter, your $5 might go a bit farther.
I got Morrowind for like 2.50 during a sale, also if terraria is ever on sale make sure to get that, it's the best game ever
Dragon Age II is currently on sale for $1.99. Haven't played but thinking about it.
Just the base game though. But there’s a way to get the DLCs for free with the legit copy. Look it up on cs.rin.ru
Oh I was going to say go to GoodOldGames, they usually have a lot of cool stuff for 5$ or less.
Like others have said, I'd wait for a sale, because you might be able to get more than one game. You could even put a couple of cheap games on your wishlist so you get emailed when they go on sale.
There is a specific game I'll recommend here too, and that's FTL (Faster Than Light). I got it on sale years ago for like $2.50 and I've gotten hundreds of hours of playtime out of it. (My Steam page says I've played for 433 hours, but I know for a fact I've played a good amount offline, so the true number is likely way more than that.)
Vampire survivor just trust me its dank as fuq
Its a reverse bullet hell just google it its like a dollar i think
