    the movement won

That's much funnier to me. Most libs say they believe in science but many of them are against masks anyway. Plus the 2022 context is a chef's kiss.

The dems didn't kill the filibuster last year so that meant a couple weeks ago the senate vote for more covid funding died. We're going to get seriously fucked and meanwhile - Biden recently said he wants more even money for the military.

Most of the media simply stopped covering this nightmare of no funding for covid. There's no death, suffering, carnage, and destruction like the ratings grabbing war in Ukraine. I knew if I googled the covid funding stuff - I would get angry. But a few minutes ago curiosity got the better of me and I googled...

U.S. to ration more supplies as stalemate in Congress over COVID funds continues

    TIMELINE OF CUTS

According to the White House, on March 22, uninsured Americans stopped getting tests and treatment reimbursed.

On March 25, the government scaled down an order of antibody treatments and rationed supplies to states.

On April 5, uninsured Americans will stop getting vaccines reimbursed.

On May 30, the United States will stop helping companies mass-produce COVID-19 tests and stop sending antiviral treatments to states.

A lack of funding has immediately impacted vaccines, with the U.S. scaling back an effort to send vaccines to countries with low vaccination rates.

The White House says the United States will not have enough additional boosters or variant-specific vaccines, if needed, for all Americans.

Some medical experts say another booster will be needed later this year.

What's a term for a situation at least times better than a chef's kiss? The dems are setting themselves up for the possibility of a failure of biblical proportions.

I share covid stuff with reddit libs and I might as well smash my head into a wall repeatedly. It would probably be as effective at reaching them.

They simply can't understand how somebody could dislike Biden yet not be a republican. It's bizarre. Their entire reality is Team Democrat vs Team Republican. And if I'm not not their team yet I'm interested in politics - I must be on Team Republican.

And if I say that I'm not - I'm lying. They tell me "Trump is stupid and awful." Or "You hate democracy." Yesterday one redditor linked me twice to a silly Youtube video about Russian bots. They were waiting for me see their comments and they surely expected I would immediately have a temper tantrum because - of course - I'm actually a republican.

I feel like I'm trying to have an honest discussion with petulant 12 year-olds who think they are very clever and they know what I "really" am. And they're gonna zing me!

I wonder how many covid-related poor people services will require, just like pre-covid, standing in crowded lines, getting coughed on, and waiting hours to be seen by overworked undercompensated workers?

So the takeaway of that thing you linked: the poor will die in greater numbers. Period. Moreso than ever before. Those that do not die will suffer lifelong debilitating conditions that aren't even fully researched or understood yet.

The cruelty remains the point. Fucking vampires and ghouls.

        The cruelty remains the point.

It's surreal how liberals will say that about Trump (and sometimes about the GOP) but never, ever about Biden or the democrats - they are without sin.

It's clear as day what Biden and dems are focused on. They want to be seen as having a muscular approach to the military, the cops, and ICE because they think that's important in the elections.

Actual living, breathing Americans who aren't their donors are not important at all.

I'm sure you saw the thread about Biden's budget but if you missed it...

        Biden's budget proposal:

        • 10% increase in military

        • 11% increase in federal law enforcement

        • 13% increase for ICE.

Biden wants $8.1 billion for ICE, which is higher than the highest amount Trump ever spent on ICE.

Failure for who? People who vote want their treats and don't care about service workers and poor elderly people dying. There's a million ways the economy is headed for a crash, outside of a COVID wave, so why would Dems not take the "let er rip" approach? That's what the "people" (again, those who matter politically) want.
