I really hope that doesn't mean they want some asshole who'll start a no-fly zone.

They just want a President to tell them that We're Winning in a way they can comfortably consume.

The next President will star in a Sitcom about punching a guy cosplaying as Vladimir Putin in the balls in front of a live studio audience. And the show will be filmed live in the White House. Elections will be held on Netflix. It'll be great.

yea there's no reasonable policy decision that would shift people's opinion on in, because bloodthirsty americans want more military intervention until we actually do it and we realize after the fact that it's a fuckin idiotic idea. the only thing the president can do is better utilize the corporate media to manager perceptions of it.

Ironically, it has been Biden and his admin pushing forward the pro-Ukraine hysteria, which now voters are mad he’s not acting on. He is a victim of his own propaganda. If the media had downplayed this like Yemen siege or Afghanistan War year 18 then voters would be indifferent to Biden’s handling of this - and the media gets its cues from state department, cia, White House and pentagon
