it’s weird to hire a butler for your student life

You're steeping on the student's dream of starring in their own real life Disney movie "Stanford Dream". They - of course - play the lead and their assistant is their politically correct role of a butler. Then they happen upon a princess (or prince) from an exotic foreign country (right there in the cafeteria!), love blooms, but the student's royal love's parents - King and Queen - have other plans...

it's basically your cat already though as you're the one who feeds and looks after it in this scenario and cats think nothing of petty human property laws

To not precisely obey the laws of Chairman Meow, to clean the litterbox according to one's own whims and only offer food and open the terrace door when one feels it's convenient: That is another type. :chairman-meow:

This might be hard to believe but most rich kids just never grow up. I'm at a no name canadian college and one of my group project teammates literally paid a "body double" to do her parts in our presentation because she was too busy partying at some music festival in the States. We asked her why the fuck she was doing that and she couldn't understand what we were mad about. Surprisingly it didn't work because our professor has more than 1 braincell, but she didn't care either. Looking back she probably paid someone to work on her slides too. They go through life with zero obstacles and every inconvenience is covered up with money.

after all why shouldn't I? Why shouldn't I annex another person's time as if it were an extension of my own?

I’d do that job. Hyperfocus on a rich person just long enough to learn how they tick, get their schedule and some personal details. Make bank doing it. And then once I burn out, Injust stop showing up

It's praxis to shave a little off the top of everything, too. Eventually you're paying their bills so frequently, they lose whatever context they thought they had in the first place.

Create fake invoices for the bills from all of the companies. They go directly to your own account, but charge 10-15% more than what they should. You pay the real bills and the remainder is a sigma grindset passive income.

$45 an hour is no joke I'd seriously consider that if I wasn't absolutely terrible at almost everything on that list :shrug-outta-hecks:

These kinds of jobs can be really underrated. If you make inroads a la Parasite then you have access to a clientele who values money much less than peace of mind and they will pay way more than you think if they hear from their other rich buddies that they trust so and so with their kids or their house or whatever.

I met someone from the bay who was getting paid $60/hr to clean rich people's houses, so it's definitely possible but you have you have to get your foot in the door first. It's the kind of job where if you charge too little, it's off putting because these people definitely believe in getting what they pay for when it comes to their needs.
