Toots is just off the charts in every way. I love every track. Their cover of John Denver's "Country Roads" brings me to tears. Jamaica is a beautiful country, albeit the only one I've seen besides USA

Like all Reggae classics if you want a chill, blues version go to the all time great guitarist Ernest Ranglin .
Hell yeah it does. Ernest is the late great unsung hero of Jamaican music. For all those covers on his albums he played as a session musician on most of the originals. It's claimed that the term Ska originally came from his guitar sound. And he is hands down the best guitarist I've ever had the pleasure of seeing close up (and that includes and lot of blues greats I'm proud to say).
That whole album "Beyond the Bassline" is ridiculous! My favorites are "None shall escape the judgment" and "Satta Massagana"...

Satta Massaagana is such a good tune it became a church song & got a shout out by the Clash at the same time.
I've only ever heard the Sublime version, which I love, but this one was great.
