Justification: Switch and Mac only

Rebuttal: DS1 is on switch

Counterargument: some motherfucker put confirm on B and cancel on A and you have to manually rebind it in your system menu

Same here, I get frustrated easily by games so I don't think I'd have a great time (esp starting out). Plus even big FromSoft fans have said that Elden Ring is total unfair bullshit at times.

It's true. No matter how hard purists will try to deny it, a fair few Elden Ring bosses are overtuned and feel borderline unfair unless you looked up the optimal build and strategy ahead of time. Late game in Elden Ring I had to respec like 3 times.

They've actually tuned down a few boss fights since launch, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are more balance patches in the future.

There are some total unfair bullshit fights, but ER also has a lot of mechanics to make it more approachable. I'm not sure there are any boss fights that you can't summon other players to help with, so even if you're not very good at the game you can legitimately build your character to have a ton of HP and defense, then just survive the boss long enough for the players you summoned to beat it to death. There are definitely some nintendo hard bosses, though. But I think if you watch a few tutorials on how to build your character to be survivable then lean heavily on the multiplayer systems you could complete the game even if you're just okay at video games. A lot of it does come down to patience, though. Dark souls is about failing a dozen times then eeking out a win by the skin of your teeth on the thirteenth try.
