I met this person, (let's call them Austen) through my "bible study group" (actually a pop pagan group), and when I found out Austen is a leftist, we hit it off quite well. We've been together for around a month, but we do have our differences, which I can respect. Will our differences be a problem?

Have fun and be good to each other. Your core values are aligned and the difference between leftist tendencies in daily life is very minimal. You both believe in abolishing capitalism, returning power to the workers, and intersectional liberation.

Ask them if they're a CIA operative. They have to tell you if they are!

i would guess in a best case scenario, the west is 10+ years away from leftists having gained any political power, so any political arguments you have in the meantime are either an excuse to kill time or break up

I mean if you share the same core values it probably will not be a problem, that is way more important than any ideology

Austen will rob your supply trains and take them backw to Austenovia, harming your soldiers and by doing so aiding the reactionary White Army.

Remember, left unity is power, factionalism is liberalism, and fucking someone of a different tendency is praxis

long as your cool about stuff im sure you'll be fine. My partner is pretty much a rad lib and we'd have way more interesting arguments if they were an anarchist lol nah but we do fine :a-little-trolling:

Yeah, same boat. OP, you'll probably be just fine unless the person in question is an "anarchist" like a twitter anarchist. But after a month you've probably already felt them out enough to know they're cool.

I'd be much more worried about a difference in class than a difference in leftist tendency

Just don't deploy your next state directly onto them.

If they're close enough to your political beliefs to be a leftist and not a suc, they're probably good enough. If you focus on building relationship built on mutual trust, understanding, and respect then I'm betting this difference will sort itselc out.
