In persian ز،ض،ظ Are pronounced exactly the same. That is probably what he means.

Edit: ah no, he actually said "looks" and not "sounds" my mistake.

I like the arabic script much more than the latin one. Much easier to write fluently. And nicer to look at.

Hebrew is way trickier than Arabic. More hidden vowels, and more similarity of the letters.

I mean only the grammar, it is very simple, what you have are a lot of saying and usances that are a pain to learn. Also every word exists trice, with old persian roots, more modern persian roots and arabic roots. A lot of words also jave variants with different connotations.

        But the grammar is easy.

Persian being (pretty distantly) related to English might help to some degree.

I want to learn Arabic. I even have a Qur'an written in it's original language here in my personal library and I want to read it so bad. I will probably contact the Islamic Center of Buenos Aires to ask for a dictionary and a translated copy of the Qur'an.. to get started.

IIRC the Qur’an is written in an ancient form of the language that's very different from modern Arabic. It's a bit like a modern English speaker reading Canterbury Tales in the original Middle English.

I tried learning Arabic in college but I had a bad teacher and ended up dropping the class. The irregular plurals really fucked with me.
