Just wondering why some have been listed on the requested communities post for so long but haven't been created. I'm itching for the vegan community to be up so I can browse recipes.

Yeah I feel like the creation of more niche communities seems like a problem because of fear of them going unused. However, the reason why I still find myself using reddit (besides sheer volume of content) is the niche subreddits that I participate in. I would likely post more in niche communities that I'm interested in than /c/main. I guess the site is still in its early days and some the admins are likely trying to do a staggered creation of communities but I just feel like I've been waiting on /c/vegan for a while.

I agree it has also occurred to me that a mental health community is in order. And yeah they probably did but I suppose that that issue should work itself out as the website continues to grow in terms of both users and posts. I think that once chapochat can produce a large enough volume of daily content to satisfy the demand of browsing users than more users (like me) will be willing to actually switch the bulk of their browsing over from reddit to chapo, resulting in posting spilling out from /c/main to other more niche communities.
I dunno I'm kinda just throwing my initial thoughts out there but does that make sense? I like browsing here but I'm probs gonna keep using reddit until there is a lot more content being generated here
