If I use a chatbot in 2030 and it responds with "Thanks for the prompt kind stranger!" I'm ending it all

I'm envisioning the first trials the chatbot automatically starts defending loli and horse porn without being prompted to do so.

Same, we'll need to make sure our brains aren't salvageable though. These freaks are going to be figuring out how to use Elon's monkey killer chips to plug our brains into a digital hellscape. I think I'll go for an industrial wood chipper.

Can't harvest my brain power when it's got the processing power of a single vacuum tube! think-about-it

The brave Hexbear user grins at the tech bro overlord, the only thing they now have enough neurological ability to process is that their brain is now useless to the disappointed looking husk standing before them... As drool trickles down the Hexbear's chin, they slur out the words "piggy poo ball, lib!".

I hope this has the effect of making reddit-speak instinctively piss everyone off because of association with annoying chatbots in customer service.

If the epic bacon guys get me - I'm forced to listen to them for millennia after millennia as they subject me to time travel to prove how right they are. Instead I want to avoid all that misery by my metallic guardian angel who puts me into eternal and peaceful slumber just seconds after meeting me. Thank you kind terminator.

Reddit slowly became a vast receptacle of human knowledge from every imagination hobby or interest, rivalling wikipedia in it's usefulness. Think of how many times you've used reddit to look for answers to a question or for item reviews. The content is valuable, it's sad to see it used for this inevitable garbage

I don't understand why people say this. Most hobbyist subreddits are dogshit and have no useful information. Most of the people on reddit are barely sentient and outnumbered by literal reply bots. Even youtube has better information than that.

There's barely a difference between ai replies and reddit anyways so I don't really understand the point.

At the same time this smells of that Q CIA think-tank thing

Anne frankly, I did nazi that coming. I literally came here to say this but boy, that escalated quickly so to the top with you! Lost it at 'This is why we can't have nice things' and then my faith in humanity was restored, my mind blown, and manly tears were shed. Well said. As a 'murican, I can confirm this gem has just won the internet and is doing it right. Just sayin', I know that feel, bro, and while that was a risky click, this post was a 9/10, 11/10 with rice, would read again. I see what you did there and it feels good man. You're doing God's work, son. I laughed way harder than I should have at your list that seems legit and totally nailed it. You - I like you. You magnificent bastard; you, sir, are so brave, a gentleman and a scholar, and seeing how you are a redditor for 4 years, this checks out, so I'll allow it. I regret that I only have one upvote to give for this cool story, bro. CTRL+F ""about tree fiddy"" was not disappointed. Wait, why do I have you tagged as ""NOPE NOPE NOPE""? Nice try, you monster. You are now banned from /r/pyongyang What did I just read? Dafuq? I read that as ""YOU HAD ONE JOB"". I can't fap to this. No true scotsman could see that this relevant XKCD was bad, and you should feel bad. You must be new to reddit, so I'll see your cakeday and raise you a karma train. One does not simply rustle my jimmies, not even once. Jet fuel can't melt dank memes, that stahp gave me cancer for science, so that's enough internet for me today. OP is a fuzzy little man-peach, 2/10, would not bang. What is this I don't even know how is this wtf? Fuck Jenny. Circlejerk must be leaking. This will get buried but brace yourselves, some men want to watch the world burn right in the feels. When you see it, they'll KILL IT WITH FIRE! But this has nothing to do with atheism. Lawyer up, delete facebook, hit the gym, and SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY, said no one ever, so you wouldn't download a strawman. /r/dadjokes. Damn onions, you scary like a BOSS. whoosh. Since rule #1 is 'be attractive', I'll just leave this here: This is my [f]irst post, be gentle.

Edit: This blew up. RIP my inbox.

low? imagine paying anything in the millions for redditspeak

The only useful thing about this would be the hobbyist and identification subreddits, everything else is garbage. But I doubt that's mainly what they're going for

Reddit is so dogshit, can't access it when using VPN anymore probably because they don't want others to scrape and train LLMs off it.

Its so capitalism, they want to monopolize access to data posted by the users.

Reddit consists of liars, bots, and bots that scrape the comments from the liars to emulate them for karma. It's the shittiest dataset I could imagine for anything beyond writing a legible sentence, and even then it's a very mixed bag.
