In a way that you can say that a majority of people on this planet or in your sphere have not experienced this or are affected by this to the degree that you have. Literally anything is valid, no matter how mainstream, all that matters is that you feel you have a unique experience with it to the point where you can discuss it with others on a more personal level. This can range from intrinsic parts of your being to niche interests.

Use this thread to talk about either things you don't feel are talked about enough here or to bond over interests you otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to share :shrug-outta-hecks:

I strongly recommend that you do not doxx yourself through specificity any degree further than already dropped info within the bounds of your current handle about the topic, unless you are sure that it cannot connect you to your real name when connected with all other info dropped. Otherwise: Keep it vague, keep it simple. Feel free to just straight-up lie.

For me:

  • Judaism (reform)
  • transness
  • ADHD (especially the struggle against procrastination)
  • my experiences at a yearly overnight camp
  • going to an intrinsically unhinged suburban high school specifically designed around "college prep" (to the point where my college stress level is pitiful comparatively)
  • composing music (on a self-taught level)
  • specific works, some which I've shared here include:
  • CrossCode
  • OMORI
  • Disco Elysium
  • Xenoblade
  • JoJo
  • a couple of past interests that I have fallen out of but still remember my experiences within them vividly:
  • Overwatch esports (it's a fucking trip whenever I see xQc in my feed when I remember I watched the Arc 6 rant live)
  • Geometry Dash (I can discuss this. I refuse to discuss it under most circumstances, but I can)
  • and some very niche things that I'm not super invested in but the fact that I've experienced them and vaguely remember them is enough to count here imo:
  • a couple niche/spinoff wii games such as Help Wanted, Mario Sports Mix, and Spectrobes Origins. Also a Ben 10 game that I, for the life of me, cannot remember the name of.
  • two absolute bangers I played on my dad's (now non-functioning) PS2: Ape Escape 2/3

just wanted to post this since i'm doing a lot of introspection on personal experience and what defines me as me and not just someone, and I kinda feel like it's a good line of thought to facilitate people's personal expressions. individualistic, of course, but it's a harmless individualism in the end.

that's really it. please don't share info that has a clear path to your irl identity. I vetted each item here to make sure they were all either things I shared previously and things, when put together, could not collectively link back to my identity.

Oh SAME, college was so easy compared to high school and I had so much free time. I found it rare for most people to relate to that.

    Some of mine could be:

    • Catholic teachings (against my will 🤮) and various apologetics because I really thoroughly deconstructed when I deconverted.
    • CPTSD and its treatment, from both all the therapy books I've read and lived experience.
    • Same for OCD, BDD, and depression... I have researched so much in my journey to "fix myself."
    • How to avoid COVID and also why you want to avoid getting COVID - I am an open book for anyone with questions about masks, ventilation, etc. because I want everyone on this site to get though this as healthy as possible!
    • Animal Crossing: New Leaf in particular I know everything about, largely due to playing excessively to cope with quarantine, and I have all the links you could ever need to online resources for the game. I do this for one game every few years really.
    • This is more a skill but I know how to orgasm with zero physical stimulation. I'm very proud of learning how to do it but you just can't brag about these things in polite company

edit: Ooh, just remembered, I know a lot about cats and specifically a good deal about how to teach your cat to use a set of buttons to communicate. It's worked fantastically for me and my cat over the past year or so.

Yeah I had missionary parents and I'm not religious now, so yeah that sucks, though I got the baptist versions and not the Catholic ones lol.

The cat one sounds cool, if I get a cat in the future do you mind me asking for tips? It sounds really cool.

As for that orgasm one, that's real? I remember going down the rabbit hole when I was like 17 and getting a really weird bunch of YouTube videos lol. But I'll take your word for it.

Yeah, I'm still unpacking so much religious bullshit in trauma therapy. It's ridiculous how much garbage has been crammed into my head.

And yes, please do ask me! I love talking about cats :meow-melt: Mine is the biggest source of joy in my life right now... Sometimes I wonder "Is this hell?" and then I look at her and know that it can't be because of just how wonderful she is.

I can confirm that touchless orgasms are very real! I never really learned from guides or videos though. I am multi-orgasmic so I tend to masturbate infrequently but for a much extended period, and this gave me a lot of time to learn and understand how building arousal feels until I could do it without stimulation. I also occasionally have spontaneous orgasms when stoned on weed so I used that experience as a jumping off point too.

Yeah I probably need to go see a mental health professional soon, all the bs thoughout childhood combined with my recent rapid mood swings and anger issues is not sustainable lol. Really hope I haven't had anything start/onset in my early 20s or taken COVID 19 brain damage.

About cats, since you like talking about them so much I'll ask a question or two when I can come up with them. I've spent like 10 minutes trying to think of something and I can't really. Feel free to just say whatever pops up in your mind about them.
