Yes, Walt Disney was really big on planned communities. EPCOT was supposed to be the city of tomorrow. There's a Disney town called Celebration and it's just what you think it is. Moreover Disney has jurisdiction over the land the Disneyworld sits on.
What can I say, people really liked Disney back when Walt was alive. The evil piece of shit Michael Eisner took over in the 80s and it went downhill fast after that.
The fact that Eisner was arguably less racist and antisemitic than Walt, but is still in contention for "more evil" says a lot about Disney over the years.
Anyone want to fill me in on Eisner?

Basically every video mentions Eisner and his role in all sorts of crazy shit. The Walt ones aren't much better, with bangers such as a nazi helping design Disney Land's rocket ride and Walt's boys only club for union busters

Friend of mine said that he had to stop in Celebration to use a public restroom without buying anything, and the residents gave him the stink eye the whole time.
