I think that right-wingers are doing a reasonable enough job at blaming the Dems. Meanwhile Dems are barely out there, but when they are they do the "we condemn both sides" bullshit that doesn't connect to Trump at all.
Biden is basically hoping that current circumstances are bad enough to get him elected, he isn't even running on being anti-Trump, he is just waiting for the elections to happen. A normal anti-Trump candidate would at least be blaming Trump for this shit every day.

They’ve built up the “violent antifas” narrative enough over the past few months, and now there’s a “teenager exercises 2A rights for self defense and dems want to condemn him?” narrative
There's typically diminishing returns in support of mass-protests & riots/uprisings.
Which means calls to quell those protests get more popular as time goes on.
Is he polling better or something? Couldn’t that just be from the convention?
