I don't know why they hate fun so much. For people who claim to love freedom and individuality they sure hate people expressing themselves in non-conforming ways.
I know they claim its because it's "unnatural" but you don't see them complaining about brunettes bleaching their hair to be blonde. Come to think of it, they don't have a problem with women using plastic surgery to have unnaturally large boobs either (unless they happen to be trans)

Honestly this might sound a bit simplistic but chuds are all about keeping things as bland, basic and conventional as it gets. A big underlining reason why almost all of them are racist, or at least believe in a level of white superiority is because they view white or white passing people as normal to them. Everyone else is different. They may like some parts of some cultures but ultimately they view themselves as the dominant race and culture. Having non conventional hair isn't normal, therefore it's bad. To them, women rejecting the conventional idea of what a woman looks or acts like is like an insult at the entire idea of what a womans purpose is to them. Lot of these dudes are just straight up misogynists and don't think women should have any agency over what they themselves want to look like. They're not falling in line.
Lot of them are just the most boring people you could ever talk to, very little original thoughts and just conform to superficial ideas of what things are supposed to be like. They have an extremely stunted idea of what self expression can be like
