California's median age is 36.5 (1.5 years younger than the national median age).
California doesn't know where it is and it's confused. Please help. That's what makes Feinstein the perfect representative for wherever she thinks she is.
The reason accelerationism is a bad take is because we can't possibly accelerate things faster than they can left to their own devices.
I fucking hate her so much. She's almost solely responsible for the insane housing prices in the Bay area and conspired with her real estate mogul husband to drive out long term tenants.
California:
"we support gay marriage" :isaac-pog:
"legal weed" :isaac-pog:
"We also have many anti-discrimination laws" :isaac-pog:
"And right now, we're looking at implementing a 4-day work week." :isaac-pog:
"But that's because everyone except pre-prop 13 homeowners are EQUALLY unwelcome here! Fuck off we're full! Go fuck off to Texas, you dang kids and your 'affordable living' are ruining the world's biggest country club!" :haram:
California voted to ban gay marriage by ballot measure
Liberals blamed black people
It was also a very deceptive ballot measure. Yes was to ban gay marriage, no was to allow it. And the wording was intentionally vague.
OPINION: California is a dessicated husk - that's what makes Feinstein the perfect representative.
Californians are dying, perhaps their leaders should be dead people too.
It's Colma all the way down.
Colma (Ohlone for "Springs") is a small incorporated town in San Mateo County, California, on the San Francisco Peninsula in the San Francisco Bay Area. The population was 1,507 at the 2020 census. The town was founded as a necropolis in 1924.
With most of Colma's land dedicated to cemeteries, the population of the dead—not specifically known but speculated to be around 1.5 million—outnumbers that of the living by a ratio of nearly a thousand to one. This has led to Colma being called "the City of the Silent" and has given rise to a humorous motto, formerly featured on the city's website: "It's great to be alive in Colma".
That's too perfect to be real. It's like the start of a Sam Raimi horror movie. :data-laughing:
The next prime minister of the UK will be Prince Philip's rotting corpse

From Ch. 10 of Gulliver's Travels, on the immortal struldbruggs:
When they came to fourscore years, which is reckoned the extremity of living in this country, they had not only all the follies and infirmities of other old men, but many more which arose from the dreadful prospect of never dying. They were not only opinionative, peevish, covetous, morose, vain, talkative, but incapable of friendship, and dead to all natural affection, which never descended below their grandchildren. Envy and impotent desires are their prevailing passions. But those objects against which their envy seems principally directed, are the vices of the younger sort and the deaths of the old. By reflecting on the former, they find themselves cut off from all possibility of pleasure; and whenever they see a funeral, they lament and repine that others have gone to a harbour of rest to which they themselves never can hope to arrive. They have no remembrance of anything but what they learned and observed in their youth and middle-age, and even that is very imperfect; and for the truth or particulars of any fact, it is safer to depend on common tradition, than upon their best recollections. The least miserable among them appear to be those who turn to dotage, and entirely lose their memories; these meet with more pity and assistance, because they want many bad qualities which abound in others.
I think it's a free writing project that media people do for clout in their little clique.
