I'll be real - if I weren't so terminally online, I'd probably be one of those "Chinese genocide" people because I'm a sucker for emotionally-driven narratives like that and there aren't a lot of committed leftists in my life right now. It's easy to get swept up in all of that stuff, and once the opinions are formed it's a lot harder to unwind them.
