Willy Shat couldn't help spreading his DNA across the cosmos like he was Gengis Khan, just look at that chisled jaw while he's holding that rock dong. There's a number of problematic elements in the later shows too, don't even want to talk about Neelix.
Neelix was uh "dating" and partnered with like what was she, a 12 year old girl or something? I forget her age, even if she "aged quickly." Still kinda ew. He was also jealous and possessive of his innocent lil Kes especially when Tom Paris was around.
So Neelix was even worse than I realized. I considered attempting a joke here, but it's in such poor, gross taste, nevermind. She's less than 9 and he's in a relationship with her? Yeah, that's either bad writing or Neelix is... irredeemable.

"Janeway tried to explain to her that Humans go through a similar process called puberty, but Kes was panicking because she was simply too young for the Elogium, as it usually happened between the ages of four and five and she wasn't even two years old yet. "

Kes was two when they meet, just seems a little weird for the species that don't rapidly age.

Nah, there's fair arguments to be made both ways. I suspect we agree that it's the writers that have some explaining to do here.
edit: still, he was a possessive prick in at least a couple episodes.
Kes was two at the start of the show, her species lives to nine.

She's fucking two at the start of the show. I don't know what the writers were thinking. Must of been a couple libertarians in the mix.

Neelix is gross
