At some point during my PhD, my partner and I discovered that some doctoral graduates (read Finnish) get a sword when they graduate. Apparently this is a fact my partner held on to and he decided to honor me with my very own Doctor's Sword now that I’m done.
I went to one of those liberal universities Ben Shapiro is always complaining about and all they gave me was a mug with RBG painted like Biggie and a Liz Warren action figure.
