Chinese person: “You guys should probably take action and stop this.”

Liberals as they are being lined up against the wall by fascist paramilitaries on orders of Supreme-President Generalissimo Tom Cotton for the charge of being last seen interacting with a Trans person: “But the Uyghurs-!”

(I swear, after this, if I see the word “whataboutism” once, I’m going to flip a table)

:le-pol-face: "Chinese people hate freedom and they hate you."

:gigachad: "Hi! I'm a Chinese communist! I will use my Twitter account to stick up for Americans, who are losing their freedom because of a neo-clergy.

:le-pol-face: "Muh Uyghurs! Never mind that I have been demanding genocide of Muslims on /pol/ for about a decade!"

The fact that Redditors (and admins) are suddenly more serious on “Islamaphobia” and “genocide” when it comes to Xinjiang, yet they barely showed a fraction of that seriousness when The_Donald was actively cheering on the Rohingya Genocide in Myanmar and anti-Muslim riots in India speaks volumes and helped me see the bullshit for what it was.

Even now, when people on r-Europe are calling for Muslims to be deported after events in Sweden, does the standard not hold up.

You know I am legitimately trying to figure out now if there are "Periodic table of [other things]" now. Like is the "Periodic Table" portion still specific to "The Periodic Table of Elements" or is it the "of elements" portion that defines it? Like would this be the "Periodic Table of Abortion Rights States"?

Well, do they have common features along 2 dimensions? Atoms are arranged by common orbital configurations.

It's both. Proton number increases as you move from top left to bottom right, but electron number also increases. The rows represent the highest occupied orbitals and columns represent how many electrons are in that orbital. https://chem.libretexts.org/@api/deki/files/1281/PeriodicTable2.jpg

I hate being called a CCP shill for suggesting we focus on our own problems

I never ever defend China, I literally just point out shit is falling apart here lol

USAnos have a weird blindness to their own issues

The propaganda is too strong in the USA. All you accomplish is telling everyone you are a "genocide denier"

I don't blame you, misinformed people and reactionaries REALLY can't stop themselves from overreacting to any statements about China that aren't openly condemning it.

suggesting we focus on our own problems

this is actually a soviet ussr tactic invented by Karl Marx to try to force the conversation to be about problems that actually exist, I forgot the word for it.

China announced the closure of the compulsory vocational program back in December 2019, but they don't care about that either.
