Dibs on mothman :bird-screm-2:
I imagine aliens have a prime directive but it's half-assed enforcement discourages only the least exuberant of extraterrestrials. Unfortunate for us they lost all interest and stopped visiting when there was no chance of an Earth nation seeking to join their federation of FALGSC governments.
Anyone got literature on the evolution of this stuff? Like I know the HG Wells connection with the greys and everything, but sociologically why did aliens suddenly become "hairy dwarves" for a bit, etc
“hairy dwarves” (early 1950s)
red scares , post-war immigration from eastern Europe perhaps influencing the concept of 'otherness' in fiction?
A lot of it was people piggybacking stories off one another in UFO magazines until someone else came along with something even wackier
I'm gonna go old school and be the Ayy Lmao alien in the bottom right
This is bullshit, where are the alien flower robots that wanted to blow up a Florida school
Eventually, the robots went back to their egg-ship, but not before offering Evelyn the chance to come with. She declined, and they promised to return for her in 35 years. They boarded their ship, which flew straight up and hovered for a minute before flying off.
:sicko-yes:
At some point the science building was indeed left in shambles, but Evelyn never again saw the flower robots.
Lying ass aliens
You still can. I took claim to the modern alien because green intergalactic dude.
I'd like to be the monster who looks like a blender motor and no arms
Reminds me of the people hiding in trashcans on the Sega Genesis game Toejam And Earl.
