    LMAO, this is absurdly brainwormed. The author can't possibly imagine that people in latin america care about feminist or lgbt issues, and from there builds out an increasingly absurd argument that instead it is all based on appealing to Americans. (various ideology is liberally scattered throughout as well ofc). The conclusion is based in racism

      i see a lot of people who talk about any sort of socially progressive stances being imported from america to other country and the natives dont want it. especially common with latinx discourse. its a weird but common talking point among the socially conservative

        Which is absolutely brain dead considering Argentina and Uruguay both had gay marriage through legislative action long before Obergfell. If we were still waiting on congress there wouldn't be national marriage equality in the US.
