Yeah in South Africa everytime I see an imported f150/250 I just laugh. It's just such a ridiculous vehicle that serves no purpose for your average person. I'm so glad they don't sell them here, you know the Boers would buy 500 million f250s if they had the chance. These are the people that obsess over truck/bakkie brands to the point it becomes their personality. (Ford Ranger Vs Toyota Hilux is probably the most intense rivalry, I can honestly imagine some Afrikaners killing each other over it.)
I knew these two people, one a Hilux fan and the other a ranger fan, that obsessed over that shit to know end. The ranger fanboy literally confessed to us that he took it in for a "secret service" to fix something because he didn't want the Hilux fan to know. Like what the actual fuck.
