Just a PSA to get to know your neighbors. Just had a cop outside my apartment because someone assaulted my neighbor. I went out and had a cig to talk to my neighbor while the cop was still there (I thought he was gone but nope) and a neighbor in a nearby apartment complex was catching the interest of this cop. She just has a really loud voice but he was looking at their place like my cat looks at a chipmunk. I was able to tell the cop to not worry about it, and text her to warn her what was going on so they were aware. Absolutely he was going to go “investigate” her having a normal conversation just because she has a loud voice and the window was open.

Yeah in South Africa cigarettes were temporarily banned during the more strict stages of lockdown, which forced people to either re consider their habit or spend their entire salary on illegal cigarettes that were pure tar and poison when compared to normal ones. Also know someone who paid 300 US dollars for a sealed and plastic wrapped cigarette box of weeds (they thought they were getting Malabo reds). Good luck with the vaping strategy.
One pack, the ban on cigarettes led to a ton of inflation in illegal prices. They oviously fell for a fraudster though, the price was just criminal. During the lockdown illegal packs sold between 50 to 100 USD from what I can tell, and that was no name stuff that's just pure tar.

Especially a massive spinal fusion with rods and screws and everything haha. I just hope it can help improve my health, I'm tired of being bedridden and walking with a cane, though there are a ton of success stories. The current US womens rock climbing champion and Olympic athlete, Kyra Condie, has a spinal fusion for example. If my recovery is anywhere near as good as that I'll literally cry.
All depends how good the recovery is haha. I'll definitely give it a shot, I still have most of my gear somewhere. Also I have to wait 6 months after the surgery to try intense exercise, so you're going to have to wait a while lol
I know there are a number of reasons why some people can't, but if it's possible to do disc replacement, you should. Down time is a little longer, but cost is actually similar and you keep most of the flexibility instead of basically losing the joint.
I've got three herniated discs in my neck from a car accident last year, probably getting the surgery before too long. Big issue is whether the car insurance will pay for it, shithole country etc.
It's not to do with the discs but the actual shape of the spine. Think scoliosis/kyphosis surgery.

I'm so glad I made it through my teenage years and early adulthood without picking up smoking or vaping. Always used to at parties but it didnt stick with me luckily.
I once heard the "high" of nicotine (for an addict) being likened to the sensation of taking off a pair of overly tight shoes that you've been wearing all day. That's all it really is; relief from the constant discomfort of craving.
(It took a life-threatening asthma attack for me to finally quit, so...solidarity)
