    no it isn't

the force is awful why does it always create a balance? why not just make jedis and not the evil ones?

they're deterministic no one has any choice in them

every planet they go to is either an aristo ruled 'pleasure planet' dystopian hellhole or some desert nomad community perpetually bartering junk with each other in ramshackle markets and getting drunk & fighting in taverns

are we supposed to root for the republic, that presumably let the universe get to this state? why do they follow aristos and monarchs?

maybe i don't remember them well enough i might have got some stuff wrong. i just remember every one wanting someone to finally build a universe-destroying death star and just wipe the lot

Same reason gravity doesn't simply not act on some things. The Jedi are a religious order that interprets the Force, mostly correctly I'd add, and a big part of Star Wars is the idea that you can reject or alter your destiny. Also yeah, it's class war, that's the point. The rich parts of the galaxy are literally called the Core.

There's a theory that the major technological development made by the Star Wars universe and what is responsible for their current level of development and stagnation is that they solved gravity. It's how they can effortlessly park a Star Destroyer over a city or Luke's Landspeeder can float in the garage seemingly drawing little to no energy while maintaing lift.
