The red vs blue people? Huh
yeah
:well-I'll-be:
they're a large production company now
Damn that's wild
yeah but have you seen their recent productions ? the new season of Red vs Blue sucks more than usual. besides, they cancelled Nomad of Nowhere, so i'm never watching anything made by Rooster Teeth again.
I haven't seen red vs blue since 2007 :yes-honey-left:
keep it that way, its for the better.
idk, red vs blue was great through season 10. once the freelancer saga ended it's not worth watching though
yeah, freelancer wasn't bad, but i'm mostly referring to the last 3 years of content they have released
did you watch red vs blue? if you did, and you watched until season 8 you'd run into this moment. rooster teeth hired monty oum to animate action scenes for red vs blue, moving the series away from pure machinima. after a few years working on red vs blue, oum decided he wanted to make his own show, one that was heavily influenced by anime. this was the trailer he released.
that was 2012, the show started in 2013, and it's released a volume every year since, except 2021, when they delayed the season til this year.
Hot Take: Oum's action scenes were a baaaaad fit for Red vs Blue. It's like you're watching a funny talky comedy and then suddenly it's an overproduced video game cutscene.
For that matter dramatic story arcs were also a baaaaad fit for Red vs Blue.
totally fair. i think they're fun, but they dramatically shifted the tone of the series.
I haven't seen it since like 2007, I had no idea it was still going, wild
