But probably not as dumb as dying of COVID to own the libs

Dear confessabear, I have a confession for hexbear.

I honestly used to believe that Elon Musk was cool. Obviously this was before I went left, but I thought that he was going to make environmentalism cool and solve climate change. I even praised him when he made the Tesla patents public, saying "we're all on a sinking ship". Even today, the little lib in me desperately wants to be proven wrong about capitalism. Elon Musk could probably solve climate change on his own, AND he would go down in history hailed as a hero.

This article claims we can stop climate change with $300 billion, Musk has immense popularity and could do some sort of Goku spirit attack with a large poriton of his Tesla winnings. He got 200 billion dollars from the pandemic alone. Let's say he contributed 150 billion to that effort to "already get us halfway there". I'm sure with his MASSIVE influence he could complete the other half real quickly and solve climate change.

I wouldn't give a SHIT if we had to build a statue in honor of Elon Musk, I wouldn't give a shit if he used that to brag about capitalism, one of my worst fears will now never come into fruition even if Elon gets to brag about being "the man who saved the planet."

I'm not fully convinced Musk believes climate change is real or if he does, he doesn't believe it's a threat to him personally

Also he probably doesn't have unilateral control over his wealth. If he even tried using $150 billion for effectively fighting climate change he'd have all his Epstein tapes released or he'd commit "suicide" or something
