Musk finally buys Twitter very late on a Friday night.
Why? Friday night is the "document news dump" time so it's a void where pols, orgs, and businesses dump info to try to get minimal coverage. As far as I know - nobody has ever bought companies at this hour.
Within an hour of the Twitter contract being finalized - he buys 4chan.
Saturday just after midnight Twitter suddenly has "DLinks" (short for DialogLinks) that are all over the place. All the links go to right-wing cesspools. And the majority of links go to 4chan.
On Saturday any number of lib pundit-idiots are trying and miserably failing to explain 4chan to their normie news consumers.
The lib pundit consensus is that 4chan is an "odd choice" for Musk to link Twitter to.
The days continue and MSNBC has a segment that's a solid 20 minutes long abut "Musk Social". The network gets roasted all over social media. That night Lawrence O'Donnell has a huge temper tantrum and he rants for the entire A-block of his show about "hostile young people on Twitter and the like" who are "making fun of journalism and knowledge itself". The next day - for some reason - he immediately starts a vacation. He's roasted on social media and "Central Park 2" goes viral. It takes the normies a shockingly long time to figure it out.
Soon there's yet another mass shooting done by a republican terrorist and the DLinks go directly the worst parts and worst threads at 4chan, etc. 4channer are over-joyed at the gigantic amount of new traffic and the number of people on the site that have no idea at all what's going on.
Musk tweets that he's doing it everything for unity and "da 1st amendment". Photos taken of him by TMZ seem to show a guy smirking has hard as he can. He also laughs and points at the paparazzi. He clearly gives the bras d'honneur gesture a few times. He claims that he had "a coughing fit".
And the Musk created chaos continues to explode and expand outward from there.
