“We figured it out. We’re all set, at least for now. But I think about what that would be like. If you’re a shift worker with two jobs, maybe you don’t have a car, you literally don’t have the time or the money to be going from store to store,”

“Let’s be very clear. This is a capitalist country. The government does not make baby formula, nor should it. Companies make formula, and one of those companies — a company that seems to have 40 percent market share — messed up,” he added. “So the most important thing to do right now, of course, is to get that plant in Michigan up and running safely.”

Fucking dead eyed psychopath. Good thing these shift workers are going to easily forget something minor like not being able to feed their baby in order to uphold fair market value.

Meanwhile, avowed communists Marco Rubio and Rick Scott are trying to pass legislation to direct Biden to use the Defense Production Act.

"When somebody tells you who they are, believe them"

Rat Pete got his fucking start as a goddamn 'consultant' for McKinsey and Co, one of the most noteworthy shithole firms in existence. He worked there for years, and was an off and on DNC operative, even going so far as to try and cynically copy Obama for his own presidential campaign. This guy believes in literally nothing, besides upholding the status quo

Just fucking toss this asshole into a pit and be done with him

Let me be clear. This is a capitalist country. It sucks ass and can't deliver on essentials, but there's no other option.

The Defense Production Act doesn't tell the government to start making baby formula, it imposes legal consequences on price gougers and hoarders. Granted, libs are still screaming Vuvuzela about Warren's attempt to do the exact same thing.

I think "better dead babies than red babies" might be punchier.

Coming back because I just realized Buttigieg currently has two babies who are probably on formula

:bruh: how do you not get a bit of empathy for people who are in your circumstance but slightly poorer?

The market has determined that his babies are more deserving. This is just rational optimization of the distribution of resources based on Merit. If those poor babies didn't want to go hungry, they should have just learned to code.

HIs husband might be a lib, but he doesn't deserve being subjected to Pete. Their kids better grow up to be Maoists or else I'll be disappointed.

In China, there was a company that laced formula with melamine and two executives were executed. In capitalist America, they will price gouge and increase profits for producing bacteria laden formula.

I'm not blood lusting, just the idea of an American capitalist facing any consequences seems so impossible.

Now how pissed do you suppose libs will be when working people don't turn up to vote for these ghouls.

All they did was tell me my baby had to starve come on you owe them your :vote:
