Despair is typical of those who do not understand the causes of evil, see no way out, and are incapable of struggle. The modern industrial proletariat does not belong to the category of such classes.”

I think there's definitely a good chunk of the left that goes so far in rejecting liberal identity politics that they discount identity entirely, and become class-reductionists in the pursuit of combating identity-reductionism. And past that point, any issue that effects people based on their identity more than their class is rejected as less important than purely class-based issues. This is what no intersectionality does to a person lol
