I had a boss that would write an email and then go through it for ten to fifteen minutes just right clicking and changing words with outlook's built in thesaurus. I imagine he thought it made him sound smarter or more educated, but it was a train wreck.
I'd feel bad for how insecure he is if he wasn't also terrible
