I was partially radicalized by working in a warehouse packaging clothing, and realizing that buying one of the hundreds of jackets I folded, sealed, and packaged in a day would cost me more than my day's labour.

A can of soda still costs about a nickel to manufacture and ship to its final location.

Memes about coats and linen is snitching on yourself about only having read the first chapter or two of Capital.

I'm not a meme-mancer but I suspect memes about the sector I, II and II' wouldn't be so successful.

Implying we've read any of Capital and are not just making the memes based on other people's memes.

I think I used to have a laptop just like that, a Dell Inspiron 9100. Given to me by a rich relative who just bought a new laptop.

That thing is massive and heavy as hell, but it had a desktop Pentium 4, 1GB of ram and a Mobility Radeon 9800. Some serious compute power for a 2004 laptop. Runs Need for Speed Most Wanted in 1024x768 without any issues at all. Runs circles around any desktop I've seen at the time.

Then I brought it to my friend's house to show off, he installed a hack for a MMO he was playing. It had a virus. Had to get an adult to reinstall Windows for me, but he couldn't find the graphics driver and that crippled the gaming performance after that.

Man I miss that thing. It got me started on the whole performance laptop path. Every single laptop I've ever bought since is a huge, heavy, unwieldy piece of crap that got obsolete in 3 years.
