Hunter × Hunter (ハンター×ハンター, Hantā Hantā), pronounced "Hunter Hunter", is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since March 16, 1998, although the manga has frequently gone on extended hiatuses since 2006. As of November 2019, 392 chapters have been collected into 37 tankōbon volumes (chapter collections) by Shueisha in Japan. The story focuses on a young boy named Gon Freecss, who discovers that his father, who he was told had left him at a young age, is actually a world renowned Hunter, a licensed profession for those who specialize in, but are not limited to, fantastic pursuits such as locating rare or unidentified animal species, treasure hunting, surveying unexplored enclaves, or hunting down lawless individuals. Despite being abandoned by his father, Gon departs upon a journey to follow in his footsteps, pass the rigorous Hunter Exam, and eventually find his father. Along the way, Gon meets various other Hunters, including main cast members Kurapika, Leorio, and Killua, and also encounters the paranormal. The original inspiration for the manga came from Togashi's own collecting hobby.

After a four-year hiatus, Hunter x Hunter, Yoshihiro Togashi joined Twitter on Monday and appeared to tease 4 new chapters of the series.

Took first steps toward exiting hell-country today.

Last night, when I saw 4 chan pushing the "killer was trans" narrative, and that narrative got pushed on TV- that was my breaking point. I began filing the paperwork and I'm talking to an immigration lawyer tomorrow. I had been planning to leave for a while, but now it feels like I have to ASAP.

Every time I see a trans person labeled as a "pedo" in a politicians speech I get sick. The dehumanization has begun, and instead of de-platforming these pigs and calling them out for their scummy behavior, the libs shrug and say "Well it's free speech, what can ya do?"

People like me mean nothing to libs, and every instinct in my body is screaming "It can and will happen here, run."

Some of my friends already left. The rest are forming mutual aid networks. IDK, I'm just in shock.

if you can that's probably the safest course of action. obviously nazi germany is a strong comparison, but it feels like there's no way out of the fascistic death spiral we're in as a nation, and trans people are going to be among the first to go

I don’t feel like it will be a strong comparison for long tbh. Maybe the pendulum is about to swing back, but the trajectory we’re on ends in internment camps

yeah, it seems likely to me that there'll be a mix. we already have concentration camps, but i do think it'll be easier to encourage vigilantism against undesirables than to set up more camps. there might be some legit backlash to the latter, but the former is already happening, and liberals wouldn't believe it if it got worse.

i mean, we already have those, they just aren't aimed at citizens yet. i was mostly just softening things a little. this is something i've said to my liberal family, who never actually refute what i say but just refuse to acknowledge it as a possibility, so it's mostly a habit to equivocate a little.

Nah, Tennessee just passed a slave procurement law that makes it a felony punishable by six years to sleep in a public park. We're there, it's just taking time to spread.
