And most of what you are talking about is redux from the 90's which is redux from the 50's which was the last time America actually generated new forms of pop culture, and not just new ways of presenting, advertising, and packaging that culture.
"Culture" in the mainstream just goes though 30-40 year cycles recycling everything from the past lol. The 2010s was the big revival of 80s and 90s stuff, now it's all big 90s style with aspects of the early 2000s creeping in.
