It depends on the country and the context.

In the USA, yeah it will be used for racist reasons. But China bans pretty much every major dog breed in large cities and I don't think it's for racist reasons.

It's much like voter ID laws (correct me if I'm wrong here), in America they're racist and used to prevent BIPOC from voting, but in other countries they're just seen as normal, mainly due to standard government issued IDs.

I don't think bans on any animals are okay no matter who is doing them.

Personally, in really dense urban environments I understand. There's little room for the larger dogs to exercise there anyways.

But countrywide yeah I agree with you, no need for that.

On a lighter note, you're sure about any animals? I would really like a ban on the local naive wildlife wrangler trying to tame and have a pet lion, hyena or hippo lol.

Yeah but people in this thread are showing their ass.

Anti-pitbull hysteria is born out of racism I already proved my case in my prior effort post.

Domesticated animals and wild animals are not the same this is a false equivalence and I will not be answering any more questions but rather referring you to my prior effort post.

Anti-pitbull shit is just racism I don't feel the need to explain myself again.

idk if you're not old enough to remember it or not but there has been massive amounts of racist propaganda around bully breeds and people of color in general and conflating the two. It's also born out of scientific racism and implying that genetics are a primary factor driving behavior,

I'm not here to relitigate this shit.

Anti-pitbull hate is inextricably intertwined with racism. This is not up for debate.

okay but this happened in the US and it's a very real problem here.

I'm not doing this again you can read my original post and stop concern trolling,

Pitbull hysteria in the US is racist. FULL STOP.

Arguing against this fact is very fucking sus.
