I kinda get what she's saying though. Material conditions have an impact on the information one can consume, the amount of time they have to read and think about theory, etc. There's definitely (at least on the internet) a very sizable amount of leftists who spend more time reading and are better versed in the vernacular, history, developments which is all well and good but it almost becomes a certain kind of leftist gatekeeping. If you haven't read this book, seen this lecture, understood this completely complex concept or historical development, or don't use this specific phrase or term to define yourself, you're not a real leftist apparently regardless of your perspective on the world and your lived in material conditions.
