Isolating due to covid and abstaining from all substances :bear-despair:
grab some limes, I hear it helps
:corona-and-lime:
in all seriousness, get well soon
Just settled into home after 6 hour drive; exhausted, overcaffeinated and undernourished. Feels good to be still.
Yo im smoking some salmon and just enjoying being outside. Hope my comrades are well!
Wife's out of town so getting stupid high, eating pizza, and watching old action movies.
Tremors is still awesome btw
Good coping mechanism for when the misses is out and away for a time. I’ll add Tremors to my rewatch list.
I went & saw my grandad, as he does not get around to well these days.
It’s good you went and saw the old guy. I made a lot of time for that with relatives who are gone now and I’m thankful for it. Cheers.
It's like Valheim, but with vampires. It's pretty damn fun. I've been playing on a friend's server, but he hasn't been on at all. Would be even more fun with more people involved.
EDIT: I should specify that you are the vampire. The day/night mechanic is interesting because the daytime is when you need to be careful. The sun will burn you, so during the day you have to travel from shadow to shadow.
good. important to not always be working. enjoy the water and the waves
I learned how to make a new cocktail! The boulevardier: https://iba-world.com/boulevardier/
I went fishing for the first time in years. Caught a couple to throw back, so that was nice.
Baking pies, playing Pathfinder and Stellaris with the squad. Also continueing to work out after not doing so for a few years, trying to hold myself to at least two small sets a day T-T
that’s good you’re picking up exercise again - I should do so as well. Are you doing body weight exercises or something else?
Mostly bodyweight, but do have some 8lbs dumbells as well. Mostly, running, lunges, pushups, dips, and planks.
Oh, I DM two Pathfinder 2e games atm. If you're looking for ttrpgs, and are moderately new, strongly recommend Pathfinder 2e over 1e. 1e has more content, but is also a lot... messier I guess? and more complicated. Both games I'm currently running are just the official adventure paths; Extinction Curse, where the party are circus members, is tonight, and is pretty good, though sadly not that focused on circus. Strenght of Thousands is the other one, and honestly, kind of love the setting and vibe of the story, set in The Wizard School of the world, which is in an area that is strongly based on African and South American traditions, which is cool seeing a wizard school focused on community, storytelling, and service.
If you're asking after video games, Wrath of the Righteous is very good. Its based on the 1e adventure, but having a computer do all the math for you makes pathfinder 1e quite a bit easier. Overall, pretty reminicent of games like Baulder's Gate or Neverwinter Knights.
