It's infuriating how often literal toddlers are characterized as being straight in mainstream stuff.

why the discourse is a thing or why kink at pride is a thing in the first place?

I'm likely forgetting something important because I got interrupted about 4 times trying to write this response, but the tl;dr is that it's always been there as long as Pride has been a thing. "kink" is kind of a social construct that involves deviation from society's sexual and gender norms, so it has always been part of the community.

The origins of pride are radical, and the original Pride parade was organized by the Gay Liberation Front, as "Christopher Street Liberation Day", commemorating the anniversary of the Stonewall riots when the queer patrons of the Stonewall Inn decided not to let themselves be raided and instead to throw bricks at the cops who were harassing them. The GLF was named after Vietnam's National Liberation Front and had the radical leftist politics you'd expect — anti-racist, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, anti-nuclear-family, and opposed traditional gender roles.

Chicago takes down the giant Ukraine flag currently flying at the Ohio street ramp, puts up the pride flag like they do every June, the Tribune writes an article about how this dishonors Azov, who are actually queer liberationists fighting against the homophobic Putler.

it's definitely Kamala being like, "we see you, we queer you" in a speech at some neolib LGB(no T) event

Some rich asshole CEO who eats babies comes out of the closet and there's immediately dozens upon dozens of shitty puff pieces about them by buzzfeed and various associated shitlib outlets where they say that the reason that the far left is criticising them is that they're homophobic. Then "leftist" liberals claim that buying from the company headed by someone who's openly gay is actually a form of praxis

Honestly, i think the most unrealistic part of it is that a rich ceo would come out of the closet to the public

Ukrainian pride flag. It'll be something awkward like 1/3 yellow (bottom) 1/3 blue (middle) 1/3 rainbow (top). It will somehow manage to not be controversial.

TERFs show up to an anti-pinkwashing protest thinking they're all on the same side. Hilarity ensues.

To make this fully clear and refined, I want like special pride flag edition, all cerakoted up, not just rainbow PVD; there are several factory rainbow PVD things already available.

Roe v Wade gets overturned for real, then some state (probably Texas) tries to ban gay marriage, making Obergefell v Hodges the next target of SCOTUS
