I thought billionaires worked so hard that they had no time for things like video games? :soviet-hmm:

I like how Elon's compulsive need to be online and receive attention is directly contradicting every single fucking "motivational" account I see on Instagram and Tiktok. In particular I like the ones that feature interviews with Jordan Belfort, who talks about the necessity of working hard and staying late, and not playing video games if you ever want to be successful. Meanwhile the worlds richest man is just some fucking dumbass who bought his way into a car-company that doesn't make all that many cars, and mostly just makes sure that other car companies don't have to pay taxes.

Wait...wut???? That's the "wolf of wallstreet" right??? I know the movie isn't 100% true to life but even if the broadest of strokes are accurate the arc of his life story is that working hard and being disciplined landed him jack and shit because its the economy stupid, and he achieved massive success through outright fraud and deception and basically built his entire image and company on pure unadulterated sex, drugs, rock and roll and all around hedonism!??!?!

thats what makes it so aggrevating, when he talks about discipline and hard work. He literally went to prison for being a fraud who lied and cheated everyone. But hey, he sounds confident and is a good salesman, so clearly he must also know what it takes to make it in life. Also, the amount of people who COMPLETELY missed the point of that movie makes me want to institute reeducation camps, just to teach basic fucking media-analysis.
