Man got "cancelled" on twitter for like an hour and he turned into the grumpiest old man in british comedy.

Looks like Onion article. I can summarize the whole event for you "The woke left on twitter won't let me make fun of trans people lol, that's the joke, please laugh"

Supposedly they were funnier before Donald Trump… really a canary in a coal mine as far as evangelists going mask-off.

I thought it took a hard right wing turn after some right wing company bought it out?

It was always a right wing, religious nutjob site, they just fired the couple of writers who made occasional articles that were self-referential or poked fun at Christianity, and scrubbed it all off the site.

The event is called Punching Up, yet it is clearly about Punching Down. Curious. :very-intelligent:

Dang. I had hoped Camilla wouldn't fall into the same pit as her dad. But then again, she also decided to go into comedy.

Starting to think the only good Python is Eddie Izzard.

You know how you can count the rings on a tree to determine it's age, and parts of it's history? I can look at the smug not-quite-DreamWorks face of this goatee guy and count the number of parties he wasn't invited to growing up.
